Memory Verse

Thought For the Week

Weekly prayer for the Homeless

Psalm 35:10
With every bone in my body I will praise Him. Lord, who can compare with you?  Who else rescues the helpless from the strong?  Who else protects the helpless and the poor from those who rob them.

PRAYER: O God of infinite power we thank you for the protection you give us, especially at those times and in those places, we are not aware of the dangers in our surroundings.  We trust in you Lord because we know that in mystery and in silence you are present in our lives, walking beside us, and carrying us through treacherous challenges.  We know that you will rescue us on time.  We pray for patience and for the perseverance to withstand the turbulence created when we lack the understanding of your call to serve.   Keep us steady and pressing on when we get tired and want to give up and give in.  We know only you can keep us free from the dangers on this path to glory, so we look to you with praise and thanksgiving.   Amen.
