UNITED TO LOVE
August 12th
marks the 2nd anniversary of the Unite the Right: Charlottesville,
VA Rally Action which organizers hope to recreate in Washington, Dc’s Lafayette
Square. As a prayerful response and call
to action, the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church
will host the United to Love: Rally for Love, Peace and Justice on Sunday,
August 12th from 11am-3pm in our nation’s capital.
We invite
all individuals, faith communities and organizations across lines of difference
to gather as we uplift the human spirit renouncing all forms of hate and showing
that we are #unitedtolove

This year Gethsemane United Methodist Church is serving as one of the satellite sites for the School of Congregational Development’s online teaching event on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm. This is a premier event designed to equip United Methodist Leaders for equipping conference and district leaders, local church clergy, and laity to lead vital, dynamic, life-changing congregations.
